Rob Wray, Chief Executive Officer
North Potomac, MD
Oldest of 7 children, now father/step-father of 6, and grandfather of 8 (all age 4 or younger). Navy nuclear engineer for many years, retired as a two star. Married to Maryellen, who works at a Catholic Elementary school. No more dogs—one cat named Figaro. I like playing the piano, sailing, reading history, the Red Sox, and avoiding yard work. Favorite food: anything Italian. Favorite music: 70’s rock. Favorite quote: “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing.” (A. Lincoln, 1855)
Gordon Russell, Chief Operating Officer
Gordon is BlueStar SeniorTech's Chief Operating Officer and a Naval Intelligence officer who retired as a two-star in 2014. He's married to Lynne and they have two children and three grandchildren. While he is living in Alexandria and working at BlueStar, Lynne holds down the house in Colorado with her two horses and a part-time job at an upscale lingerie store in Boulder. Gordon enjoys being active (swimming, running, biking and hiking with family and friends), reading history, and exploring Washington D.C.
Preston Weir, Chief Technology Officer
North Potomac, MD
A 2012 graduate of Boston University, Preston has a broad base of expertise in a variety of technologies, including telephony, computer networks, software programming, as well as data protocols associated with medical alert devices. He supervises the evaluation and integration of products and the integration of the numerous back-office software systems required for sales, fulfillment, inventory, and customer service management.
Doug Foster, Chief Marketing Officer
Doug is a seasoned executive with C-suite experience in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 sized enterprises. He served as 7 Eleven’s first CMO and has been CMO of the world’s largest durable medical equipment company as well as senior living senior care (memory care / skilled nursing) enterprises.
Doug began his career in advertising and was Senior Vice President of J. Walter Thompson in New York. He also worked at industry-leading ad agencies such as Doyle Dane Bernbach (DDB) and Saatchi & Saatchi.

David Coakley, SVP Growth
Middle child of 5 (between 2 brothers and 2 sisters), dad to 4 sons, and 1 grandson. An entrepreneur since childhood with an appreciation for those who can survive the chaos and uncertainty that come with startups. Married to Kathy for 36 years. Grew up in Fairfax VA, graduated from George Mason in 1983. We have two cats, Coco and Kilter. We live on 12 acres in Chantilly VA with our 18 yo son Colin and Kathy's 89 yo dad Bill (former B52 pilot) who just moved up from Florida. Grateful to have worked for Rob since March 2015.

Hi my name is Alain. I have been a part of the BlueStar team since 2017. I grew up between Montreal, Lima, and Maryland and currently reside in Silver Spring, MD with my wife, 2 year old son and Buddy the Boston Terrier. I have 2 degrees, one in Automotive Technology and the other in Culinary Arts. I used to play competitive soccer in South America but nowadays I stick to friendly local pick-up games. I have a passion for cars and motorcycles. I love the whole drifting scene and currently working on restoring an old Toyota SW20 with my son. In my spare time I love to travel, cook and most recently mountain biking. My favorite food is pork belly with egg noodles and pizza. I like listening to EDM and 80's rock. Lisa Roden, Marketing
Content Creator. Born in Baltimore, schooled in film at UMBC, contractor based in Ashburn, VA. I make videos for BlueStar and other entrepreneurs. Kind of a marketing ninja, creative and strategic. Managed a rock star. Single (wink). Always contemplating a dog. Endeavoring to make more short films. I love: Watching movies, from indies to action franchises. Music (mostly 80’s). Photography. Walking. My iPad and all things Apple. Traveling (England, New Zealand, California are favorites). I’m a Pescatarian, enjoy coffee, carbs, and wine. Laugh regularly. In daily life, I try to remember: Rejection is simply redirection.
Glenn Klein, Chief Financial Officer

Glenn has over 20 years of accounting and financial management experience, including VP of Accounting, Controller, IT Network Manager, and Director of Accounting/Finance roles at commercial companies and federal contractors ranging in size from $35 million to $200 million. BS in Business, MBA in Accounting.
Anne Beers, Accounting Supervisor
Married, mother of three. Love being useful and getting the job done. Spend a lot of time volunteering at Church and my local Thrift Shop. I enjoy the outdoors in all kinds of weather, walking for miles, dancing, swimming, reading, the stock market, accounting, staying in the state of being grateful. Happy to be here with BSST.
Joy Field, Accounts Receivable
The only female and middle sibling of two brothers, I have a fabulous daughter and son-in-law as well as two totally awesome grandchildren. My love for animals is reflected in my diet. Music, dancing, composing songs and enjoying great company are my most favorite pastimes, followed by writing and researching, as well as artwork. Empathetic by nature, I feel for others and love to communicate and spread happiness.

Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, lived in Gambia, West Africa, for a while. The third child out of four children, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Graduated From North Carolina Wesleyan with a major in sociology and a minor in political science. I joined BlueStar back in August 2020. Huge soccer/sports fan, I like hanging with friends, music, playing soccer, and watching documentaries.
Barbara Howard, Fulfillment Manager
Gaithersburg , MD
From western PA, youngest of 10 children. I graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, moved here to Maryland, got married and had 3 children. I've been a stay-at-home mom, a homeschool mom, learned a lot about Autism, did rescue and fostering work, real estate, got divorced and did auctions and shipping of dog clothing (that I made myself) before Etsy was a thing. I have worked in various sales jobs over the years which led me here to BlueStar where I started as a salesperson and moved on to run the Fulfillment Department. Can't live without my family, fur kids, friends, music, chocolate, coffee and the outdoors.
Pat O'Hara, Operations Assistant

Originally from Syracuse, NY is a US Army Veteran and graduate of Drexel University earning a B.S. in Business Administration. Past employment experience includes Operations Asst. for Coca-Cola of Central New York and Park Ranger for the National Park Service. Currently resides in North Bethesda with significant other and their English bulldog Jesse. Enjoys jogging and walking the trails at Rock Creek Park, reading biographies, playing rec sports, watching jeopardy, spending time with family and friends and going to live concerts/sporting events especially when the NY Yankees or Buffalo Bills are in town.
Pete Reyes, Medical Monitoring Lead
I am the youngest of 6 children. I was born in Puerto Rico where my parents owned their own Private practice. We moved to Baltimore Maryland when I was 6 years old after my father was offered a position at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I grew up in Crownsville Maryland, by the water. I was passionate about sports growing up and spent most of my time playing baseball, and tennis. I went off to the Air Force years later to become a Flight Medic; this is where I met my wife. After Medic training, I graduated as a Registered Nurse and gained experience in a variety of Health Care settings. My wife and I own a home in Frederick, MD with our two beautiful Children, and a 5-pound Chihuahua-poodle mix.
Linda Jackson, RPM Monitoring
Oklahoma City, OK
Went into nursing as a senior for love of people and medicine. Adventure started as a chemist out of Emory Univ, and continued in two medical schools, even adding in professional photography. Dallas, Texas native wound up in Oklahoma City for then husband’s pediatric training. Called into ministry and traveled the world part time. Became a private pilot IFR. Authored two books. Have two grandchildren by my son, and a daughter who went to Glory at 23. We pilots have a saying, “Your attitude determines your altitude!”
